  • National Military Academy of Afghanistan

    Established: 2005 Kabul

    The National Military Academy of Afghanistan (NMAA) is located in Kabul. It has been run by the Afghan National Army and the Afghan Air Force since 2005, when it was established.

  • Sergeant Major Academy

    Established: N/A Kabul

    The Sergeant Major Academy is currently part of the Kabul Military Training Centre. The Academy will move to the ANDU site in Qargha on completion of the Phase 2 build project.

  • Non-Commissioned Officer Academy

    Established: N/A Mazar-e-Sharif

    The Non-Commissioned Officer Academy will undertake training of soldiers from all disciplines up to the level of staff sergeant.

You may also want to consider boys ranches, teen counseling services,  schools with therapy , California boarding schools,  Christian military schools or faith-based boarding schools, because military schools are generally not designed for troubled teens. Military schools offer young men the ability to develop academically, personally, and socially into a confident and prepared leader. But military schools are not always the right choice for every young man. While military schools offer structure, and academic and athletic discipline in a controlled and monitored environment, military school is not intended to act as a rehabilitation program. And military schools do not offer the type of behavior counseling support needed to properly rehabilitate troubled young men with criminal pasts who need to reform their belief systems and their conduct. Military schools are looking for young men who want to prepare themselves for a future in a collegiate, military, or professional setting.
